Sexual Identity

Our identity is defined by many different factors and how we see and feel about ourselves sexually is part of this jigsaw.

Sexual identity includes our sexual orientation whether we identify as a straight, lesbian, gay, bisexual, asexual or whatever you choose to identify as, but it also includes our relationship to our sexual selves.

You may be confused or struggling to come to terms with sexual orientation, you may be fearful of engaging in sexual relationships, or you may seek out many sexual encounters in the hope of finding love.

It’s always difficult to talk about anything to do with sex.

I got space and time to talk about personal things in counselling,

without judgement, which was exactly what I needed.”
